May 14, 2002 -- The Spider-Man Dodge Viper showed up at the Cingular Wireless store in Florence, Kentucky. I of course made the 40 minute trip down to visit it and take a couple of pictures. You can see them down below.
Local radio station 107.7, Kiss FM, was on hand to promote the event, ask trivia questions, and pass out bumper stickers. They even gave us free hot dogs, chips, and soda! What a deal!
When they saw me come up with my Spidey shirt and shoes, of course they just had to put me on the air and ask me a trivia question. They asked me their hardest bonus question: "What university did Spider-Man attend?" Of course, I got the question right, and they gave me a free Cingular/Spider-Man "web master" T shirt.
It was quite fun. I just wish kids would stop touching it. I don't want their fingerprints to ruin the paint-job on my car!
