All the following news is taken from JoBlo's Movie Emporium. And if you cannot see any of the pictures, copy the address into your browser for each one, and then come back to look at how pretty I made this all. You couldn't possibly believe how long it took me to sort out all the prettiness and HTML and stuff...
New Daredevil Costume Shots
A scooper who preferred to remain anonymous sent these pictures in last week. The first is a shot of a bunch of Daredevil costumes hanging on a rack and the second is someone carrying the top part of the costume. I would've printed them earlier but our scooper asked us to hold off because he's still spying around and didn't want us to blow his cover. So out of respect (and hope he can provide more goodies) we obliged. But now that we've been given the go ahead, take a look at these! The first shot is cool in that we get a look at the DD logo on the jacket (near top-left, quite hard to see). Here you also get a feel for why it was described as looking like a "motorcycle jacket" in early reports. Enjoy and thanks to our top secret spy!

X-Men 2 Casting News!
It's been all but confirmed by Fox that Nightcrawler and Pyro would be two of the mutant editions to X-MEN 2 (or X2, whatever you prefer). I was pretty much sold when AICN's script review pointed out that fact but there may be some skeptics still lingering out there. Well, short of an official press release from Fox (which I don't think you're getting any time soon), this is the real deal. The Hollywood Reporter says Ethan Embry (CAN'T HARDLY WAIT) and Aaron Stanford (TADPOLE) have been cast as Nightcralwer and Pyro, respectively. In case you're a newbie, here's a little background info on the two characters.
Nightcrawler (aka Kurt Wagner) will be the next blue-skinned mutant, alongside Mystique, to star in the film. His mutant powers include the ability to teleport himself from place to place leaving behind a cloud of smoke, the smell of brimstone and the famous BAMF! sound.

Ethan Embry
Pyro (aka John Allerdyce) was actually a villain in the comics (as a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants) but will reportedly play a member of Professor Xavier's school in X2. His mutant gift is the ability to control fire (not generate it) and wears a flame-throwing backpack attached ,like Spider-Man, to shooters on his wrist. He died (in the comics) as a result of the Legacy Virus; a deadly disease that attacked only mutants.

George Lucas Talks
George Lucas, still out making the rounds for ATTACK OF THE CLONES, is dropping hints about his upcoming projects including EPISODE 3, RETURN OF THE JEDI and INDY 4. First off, Lucas confirmed that the reason C-3PO doesn't recognize Darth Vader is because both he and R2D2 have their memories erased in the third film. As he says, "Well, one, his brains have, his memory system has been erased and so has R2's. So, they don't remember anything from the first trilogy. I'm telling you something from EPISODE 3, that I shouldn't be telling you that, but I think most of the fans already know that." In other STAR WARS related news, it seems Natalie Portman has signed on to film scenes to be added on to the DVD release of RETURN OF THE JEDI. She'll apparently film that work during the EPISODE 3 production and once work begins on the original trilogy DVD (which is a loooong way away) they will be inserted. One can only imagine a possible reuniting of Anakin and Padme after the events in the original trilogy.
Finally, Lucas commented on all these INDIANA JONES 4 rumors and set the record straight. Filming is NOT set to begin this June, or any time this year for that matter. "I'm working on a story right now I've got something that both Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford like. We're in the process of hiring a writer, and hopefully we'll be able to start shooting soon ... not next year, but probably the year after. It'll take a while to write the script and all that sort of thing." So not only will we not have filming in 2002, it looks like we have to wait until 2004 for INDY 4 to get underway.
New Daredevil Footage Coming!
A teaser will reportedly be attached to MINORITY REPORT but if you can't wait until June 21 to see footage from DAREDEVIL, check out "MTV Movie House" next week when they'll air a clip of the film. A quick promo was shown on this week's episode that briefly showed DD locking lips with Elektra. The DAREDEVIL footage will air on Tuesday, June 4th at 10:00pm. Expect the clip to be digitized and online shortly thereafter.
